A reference to the collection object whose items you want to count. The behavior of this function is undefined if you do not provide a reference to a valid collection object.

The total number of items in the c collection.

DISCUSSION

To count the items in a collection that have a specified collection tag, use the CountTaggedCollectionItems function.

AVAILABILITY

Supported in Carbon. Available in Carbon 1.0.2 and later when running Mac OS 8.1 or later.
